Ariadne is a web application system. It consists of a complete framework for the easy development and management of web applications, using PHP. The system uses a modular approach, using abstract interfaces for all transactions. This results in maximum freedom to change parts of the systems workings or add new functionality without needing to reprogram other parts. Ariadne currently comes complete with an advanced user management system, out of the box webbased management of all functionality and a few ready made modules to demonstrate the uses it can be put to. It implements a lot of common code, which is used in most web applications. E.g. user management, content management, searching through data, etc.

- iDriver
iDriver is an open-source (GPL) PHP framework for developing database-oriented web applications. iDriver makes writing database-oriented applications faster and easier by providing a powerful, extensible set of user-interface components. These components provide highly functional user interfaces, with a high level of security checking. iDriver also handles database access at a generic level, freeing the programmer from repeatedly writing queries to insert, update, and delete records. However, the programmer is still free to define logical restrictions (sanity checking, input validation, etc.) before database manipulation is done. iDriver was initially developed under the auspices of the University of Nebraska at Omaha Library, and the first iDriver-based application received the American Library Associations Gale Group Award for Excellence in Reference and Adult Library Services for 2001.

- PHPGen
PHPGen is a small PHP-script that provides you with a framework for a new PHP-application. PHPGen generates a one-file PHP-script that calls itself with the parameter "$func", which determines what should be done with the rest of the data. If it is empty it produces a welcome screen. The generated script allows listing, searching, appending and editing of data in an MySQL-database (or rather in one table of a database). The table is supposed to have one field that is an unique index for each record. The generator also uses selectable themefiles which contains common parameters as colors, servername, etc. It is now also possible to make the generated script use your favorite language.

PhpLens is a PHP Application Server for rapidly creating database driven Web applications. With phpLens, data can be presented as html tables with facilities to create, edit, paginate, search and delete records. Over 150 properties for modifying phpLens behaviour are provided.
