- PHP PhotoAlbum/Web (PPA/W)
PPA/W ("P - paw") is a set of php scripts that reference a mysql database to elegantly present a collection of photos of any size. Information is loaded to the database via a perl script. With PPA/W, you can cross-reference each photoin up to five categories (arbitraty value - easily changed to more), called sections. The perl script that adds information to the database reads EXIF information from the jpeg files to add a detailed decription of the photo. The album maintainer can add comments to both sections and photos. Except for actually adding the information to the database, all administration is done via the web, and can be secured with a .htaccess file.
