- Individual Home Page
This is a system that serves a cgi-generated (home)page that can be configured by theuser. The user can select options in a form. Users having no personal preferences, will be sent a default page, defined by the contents webmaster. Default and user defined pages are generated by cgi using Perl. Yet the contents webmaster does not need knowledge of Perl or cgi. External files are used to read the contents and to configure the script. Thecontents webmaster does need knowledge of HTML, since WYSIWYG-editors usually cannot produce split up pages. User profiles are stored at the client in a cookie.
