- Whats New Script
This script updates a HTML file, when changes to a website are done. And keeps the latest N links in the tabled list, including the description (NS/IE 3.x on status bar and NS/IE 4.x using the Dynamic HTML). This script implement FIFO stack. While new links are being pushed at the top of the list, the old links are being poped out from the bottom. It can work both with plain pages (.html) and SSI (.shtml).

WhatsNew.pl is a Perl script which produces an HTML index of HTML documents that have been modified recently. Options allow the script to be set to index an entire directory tree or just part of the tree, to display a user-specified number of items, to include text to act as headers and footers of the finished page (or in place of text, a Perl program may be provided to generate the headers/footers), and to include a variable amount of sample text from each file inthe index.
