This script allows visitors to send A Postcard to a friend. You have the option to pick which picture you want to send, the color of the font and background, along with your own comment. Once you hit Send, the recipient receives an e-mail notifying them of the postcard and its location. The neat thing about this script is that it checks and automatically deletes old postcards once a certain time has expired (you decide). Also, it will send an e-mail back to the sender when the postcard has been picked up!

This is a MySQL databased Postcard System which sends an Electronic Postcard without overloading the mailbox of the recipient. Users can select the colour of the background and the colour of the text, and the date the e-mail to be sent. All these data will be stored in MySQL database and an email message will be sent to the recipient on the indicated day, giving the internet address where the recipient can pick up his/her postcard. This way the mailbox of the recipient will not be overloaded with large graphic files and the recipient can see the postcard at a convenient time. For the option to send a postcard on some future date, cron is used.
