Through the packages API, webadmin can add/remove/dump access rights by four fields: user, dir, tool, and action. It requires Perl5, MLDBM and Data::Dumper perl modules.

If you have a document which cannot be released, and you place it on your server, it can easily be downloaded or otherwise obtained by simply typing in the documents URL. Errant CGI scripts or other security holes can also exploit the document. The Document Security Script "wraps" the CGI code around the document. This means that when a user types in the document location, they will get a password authorization request. If the visitor types in the correct password, the document will be sent to the visitor. Otherwise, they will be rejected.
